I wasn't sure if I should get the 7", 10", or 12" version of this pillow when I ordered it so I went for the middle height. That has turned out to be a good balance between being high enough to prop you up to watch TV or read and being low enough to be comfortable to sleep on. I think a 12" would actually be better for watching TV, etc. and a 7" would be a little more comfortable for sleeping. But, if you're like me and you don't have enough room to store two versions, this 10" version has been a nice middle ground.

The pillow is a fairly firm foam, so it's not terribly comfortable to put your head on directly. I use a normal pillow on top of it and that makes it very comfortable. My only real complaint is that the cover it comes with is made of a very, very light fabric and it doesn't look like it will survive many washes. We'll see how it holds up.

Overall, I'm quite pleased with this purchase.

Ok, first of all, this is NOT a pillow. Some people complained that this was to hard or firm. That's the way it's supposed to be. If it was soft and cushy it would defeat the purpose of providing you elevation and support in bed.
I use it for 2 reasons, acid reflux and breathing difficulties. If I could afford a nice electric hospital bed I'd be in heaven, but this is the next best thing. It gives me the upper body elevation that I need to keep the air flowing and stomach juices where they belong, in my tummy!! It's no firmer than your average mattress and I put my pillow on top of it so it's super comfortable. I slept the first night for 6 hours straight, I haven't done that in over 2 years.
The price was awesome, about half of what the same thing costs from a medical supply company. The cover fits nice, nothing special but it does the job. When I purchased it the company was offering free shipping, they sent it FedEx and I had it the next business day.
I read a complaint somewhere that this was not good for sleeping on your side, well I think that would be fairly obvious, unless of course you like sleeping bent like a pretzel.

First of all .... it works.. I've had a "gas problem" off and on for quite some time. It is firm and a bit slippery and it's not unusual for me to wake up about to be completely slid off of it. Which is why I took off one star. Quality seems to be just fine..Tag says made in USA!

This product combined the best incline angle and bang for the buck of all wedge pillows I saw on Amazon. Once I got the pillow I was very pleased with the high quality dense foam they used for the pillow's construction. The only minor gripe is that the cover is a bit flimsy.

I ordered this bed wedge because I have a problem with snoring and waking up congested with a migraine. Also, when I lay flat on a normal pillow I sometimes feel like I'm going to be strangled by my chest in certain position. When I saw this online with free shipping and under $30 I jumped and ordered it.

The box was sitting at my doorstep when I came home yesterday (fast shipping, btw!). The wedge is a somewhat hard foam probably about 1.5 the size of one of my normal pillows. When it was time for bed I noticed it was comfortable for me to use one of my soft,sightly, flat pillow on the wedge (it's too hard alone).

This morning I woke up feeling pretty good! No headache or congestion. I felt more alert than I have in a long time and I didn't have to fight myself out of grogginess to get out of bed. I have no idea if I snored or not, but, I didn't wake myself up once in the night. That's progress!

The only issues I have with this product is the cover. It's a bit thin. I don't know how long it would last after a few washes. Also, there's no sleeping completely on one side for me using this wedge. I tried to lay that way for 20 minutes relaxing and my arm feel asleep.

I bought this wedge because my doctor recommended it after my Septoplasty/Turbinate Reduction Surgeries. It worked perfectly for my recovery. Now I use it as a "Liberator". Its slightly smaller, but it works great for that, too! For a small fraction of the price of the actual Liberator, you cannot beat this deal. Get LIBERATED!

I read all the reviews here on Amazon before purchasing this bed wedge. I suffer from GERD (acid reflux) and needed a pillow like this. I kept reading how all the other pillows smelled, even some of the expensive ones and I thought that didn't sound too good. I noticed none of the reviewers mentioned a smell with this bed wedge. So, I thought I'd try it. By the way this was the cheapest pillow I was looking at and I looked a lot. I got it 2 days ago and it is fanstastic! I adjusted so easily to it. 7" high is perfect if you have GERD get the 7". Also, I put my own pillow on it for extra comfort. Love the blue cover. Nothing slips with this pillow. It is so perfect. Again, I repeat no smell on this pillow and it is really nice quality! This is the first review I have ever written on Amazon, I think that says it all.

I ordered 7" high, but received 10". I tried it for about 2 weeks and got some neck and shoulder pain. I wrote the company, they shipped me the correct one (arrived in 2 days), and told me to keep or giveaway the 10" one. I am very impressed by this. If you need help choosing the height, I suspect it may be a good idea to order corresponding to body size. Taller is not necessarily better. Since you may be sleeping sideways in the middle of the night, the angle may be too much for your neck and shoulder, depending on how high or low your head happens to be on the wedge. The 7" seems to be working better for me now, and I wear small size shirts. Neck and shoulder pain lessened, acid reflux lessened.

gravity always ruins things, I tend to slide down at night and find myself at the bottom of the pillow with a sore neck (weird sleeping position). No problems though, I just adjust and I fall asleep again. Good thing is that I have not had any acid reflux attack (main reason why I bought this). Don't know if this is why I haven't had any, but I'd imagine it's helping.

This sleeping wedge pillow is wonderful. I received it quickly and it was everything it was suppose to be. I would recommend it to anyone that has trouble with acid reflux. The pillow is of good quality and the zippered cover is made of good fabric also. Being a quilter I recognize good fabric from poor quality. I have no complaints with this purchase what-so-ever.
