5.0 out of 5 stars Best Episode of the Series
Mac & Dennis: Manhunters is the funniest episode of It's Always Sunny. The episode maintains it's level of brilliant irrelevent conversation and offbeat and ridiculous story. Charlie and Dee in the morgue is a wonderful scene, as well as Mac and Dennis drinking on the sidewalk waiting to ambush Rickety Cricket.

2.0 out of 5 stars 2 Bad Episodes Here
Great series, but the Liberty Bell episode and the one about the Nightman were awful. Very tedious. Charlie Day is too much sometimes, and tends to get annoying.

I love the show, but these two episodes magnify its flaws.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great season, November 26, 2011
This review is from: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 4 (Amazon Instant Video)
This is a GREAT Season of sunny. The season finale for season 4 is my personal favorite episode in the series.

By season 4 the characters are all totally fleshed out and thus allowed to pursue very funny story arcs. Well worth the watch!

4.0 out of 5 stars Psychotic - but in a good way. . ., October 6, 2011
This review is from: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 4 (Amazon Instant Video)
You have to admit, this is creative television. The characters, all 5 of them, in their own twisto ways, are totally loveable. And I love that it is comedy, cause those new television dramas are so darned overwrought, it's hard to take them seriously. First off, Charlie Kelly is my hero. Now that we've got that out of the way, let's talk about "Manhunters". This is truly a sick episode, a total joke played by Frank (Danny DeVito) on Mac (Rob M) and Deandra (K. Olsen) - such a beautiful name for the most psychotic female character I have ever seen on TV. Instead of resorting to shock and lame-pop culture references, "Philadelphia" goes for broke on true character study. . .Like all shows that we love, it's not so much each individual episode that matters, it's the strong base of good characters, and good chemistry between them, episode after episode. Season 4 is solid as far as all of this is concerned. "Manhunters" is a typical way for the "gang" to inaugurate it. This is my favorite show of all time, surely not suited to everyone's tastes, but I had to get that off my chest. Favorite show of all time. Watch for the ending, when Deandra is picking at her sub sandwich like a bird. . . . or some kind of animal. Love it.
