I just don't have enough words for how much I love this sweater. I purchased it on a whim, as I haven't really heard of Mac and Jac before (I'm not really a "brand-name" kind of gal). But this one more than lived up to it's hype.

This sweater is beautiful! It is warm, snuggly, and super-soft. It is also just about the perfect thickness, not thin or chintzy, but very satisfyingly thick. I can't imagine getting cold while wearing it. The fit was nice and generous as well. This sweater looks good on a woman with some curves! I'm rather sensitive to courseness in sweaters, and have a general dislike for anything scratchy or course. This one is an absolute pleasure to run around in. I wore it this last Thanksgiving, and everyone kept making excuses to touch it. It is just that nice!

This is my first Mac & Jac sweater, and it will probably not be my last if their quality is this consistent. This is my favorite sweater I own now. Period.

I just received this sweater in the Ultramarine Mix. It's nice and soft, not at all scratchy, and I believe I'll enjoy wearing it. The color is a tad brighter then it looks online, more of a teal blue, and I was expecting a slighty finer knit. I'm wearing around a size 12-14 these days and I ordered a size large. It appears to run true to size, a close fit, but not too tight. I feel that overall it is a nice sweater for the $$$ and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

...but, you need to know two things first:

A) it had a tiny little hole at the where the cuff meets the sleeve, first time I wore it. No biggy to me, I'll stitch it up and keep going. But if this infuriates you, like some other reviewers I've seen, beware!

B)It has a musky, damp-wool smell that I notice when I'm warm. I thought it was the fabric, and looked at the label: 57% Acrylic, 28% Nylon, 15% Cotton. It shouldn't smell like wool, so I don't know what that is, but if you are sensitive to smell, it could be an issue.

Overall, I love it. I love this brand, I love the fit, the colors, the fact that it smooths over a multitude of sins, and keeps drafts out of the nevernever land above the waistband of our current lower-rise pants:) I'd order it again, even with the two caveats above. Mac & Jac is my new fave brand. The size is perfect and the styles are classic but fresh.

I am a curvy woman and clothes that cling to me too much make me feel unattractive- this sweater hugs me in a all the right places. I wore it out this past weekend and got a lot of compliments. It's very soft and stylish and it didn't cost nearly what local department stores were asking for a tunic cowlneck sweater. This has been- by far- the best sweater I have owned in a few years. It's perfect. I only wish they had more color choices because I'd surely snag them all up!
