Great Study Tool
Great tool for Bible study! Helps understand verses better as well as providing background information of the verses as well as the time period it was written in.

Disappointed!
This book is little more than the notes from his study bibles. Normally, I recommend most of his writings and books; this one however can be skipped over if you already own his study Bible.

Awesome for New Christians ....,

Just reading the first 5 pages I learned things that I didnt know.Pastor MacArthur does say that this book was intended for lay readers and as a handy referance tool to his longer commentaries. Great for a new Christian looking to feed their hunger for God's word without buying several commentaries and best of all its really afforadable. |
