Overall a good source for answering my questions. I am new to Mac Computers as I had Windows-based computers for the last 27 years. I bought this book sort of as a instruction manual since the computer didn't come with much of a detailed manual. Most of what I was looking for was in the book and was easy to understand.

There is an assumption that you have a basic understanding of many of the terms. Difficult to find answers to specific problems. There is no suggestion as to where one should go if the questions that you have are not included in this book.

I was new to my MacPro and this Dummies Book was a big help in finding our way around our new computer. I keep it on my desk for ready reference - worthwhile purchase.

I bought several books to help me understand how to use my Macbook Pro. This was the only book that helped me. It had all the essential things you need to know to help you get the most out of your Macbook. I highly recommend it.

This book is so elementary and dated that it isn't worth what it costs to return it. The new operating system for Apple products has overtaken it, and it should be retired. Even as a new MacBook owner I should have known better!

This book as helped my husband on many occasions already. It's explained so many things. We bought our MacBooks usebed so we needed help learning about them. This book has been invaluable.

I find these books informative but a little lacking in the complex details. I guess that is the reason for the titlle.
