I thought I found a beautiful folio for my iPad2 when I found this brown suede MacCase. In it's photo, the suede looks soft and lush. In person, it looks like the hides of two or more cows were used to make it. The front cover was neither soft nor lush; the back cover was made of three different pieces of hide. I could live with this if it were the only thing wrong.
With use, I have found the cover doesn't always turn off the iPad2 as it was meant to do. I can see after I close the cover, the screen is still on. This is likely due to the bottom and top of the front cover curling. This has worsened with use.
The longer I have this folio, the less I like it. I am disappointed with the value per dollar and expected better.
I just wish the outside was as nice as the inside in appearance and quality. MacCase Premium Leather Folio2 for iPad2

I don't like this folio. It looks good but functionality is not perfect. The folio cover is not always suspend the iPad on closing. Magnets in the folio frame interfere with the iPad compass. The color on the leather is not stable and easy migrate to clothes, but it's more relevant to the flight jacket which quality it not very good too.

This is a great case/ gift for a man. My husband loves his! He says it is very slim, and not bulky. The magnet that automatically turns on/ off is super nice. This case is well worth the money!!
