I bought the MacGregor Batting Tee after I had to return an inexpensive tee that was made of light plastic. It would turn over every time the tee got hit...not a good thing for a beginning tee ball player. I decided buying a solid, great quality tee would be the way to go. It is a little heavy, but it hasn't turned over once. It looks like it will last through many kids and many years. I would highly recommend the MacGregor Batting Tee!

I went on amazon looking for a good batting tee. I have bought many different batting tees over the past 15 years and have found that they often start cracking near the top fairly quickly. As soon as I put this thing together I knew that it was the good stuff because it was heavy. I've used it a half dozen times and it's looking good. This is the best batting tee I've ever had, but it is heavier to lug around - only because it is of good quality.

I had read several reviews of other batting tees, so I was careful in making my purchase. As a result I avoided other brands. This was the same type tee I had as a child, and is very sturdy. My 18 month old son and 5 year old daughter have been using it for 2 months now and it works well. The vertical tee is supported on the bottom with an aluminum shaft. The base is heavy duty rubber/plastic. Based upon other posts I'm trying to be careful picking this up as the tee is merely supported by a bolt on the bottom plate. Very sturdy. The plastic vertical Tee is holding up well but realize my kids are not 8 year old sluggers. So far it is working well and we are having a great time with it.

We needing a tee to help with my sons practice at home. We searched every store in our area. They all had the cheap looking batting tees that would fall over every time you hit the ball. We wanted the real thing that they practice with at practice. This is it. If i could give it more stars I would. The tee is great and Amazon is great. We had it in 3 days and having being using it now for 6 weeks and it is awesome!

This is a good solid product. Some competing products are cheaper and some are more expensive. This one is solidly built and does what you need it to do - holds a ball which my 10yo son hits. Most important thing is that when he misses the ball and hits the tee, the tee isnt destroyed. Very solidly built and I think will last well

I've written a review of this tee a few times now and somehow they didn't get published. I was just looking at my reviews and noticed this now. Normally I wouldn't spend any extra time writing a review after months of buying something, but this tee has been too good to not write a review for it. I initially bought a tee from SKILZ but that broke in literally the first at bat it was used. For a youth league, that just wouldn't cut it. I kept looking and decided to give this tee a try. Not only did it hold up for the youth league, but it also held up for an adult league team on which I play.

This tee is basically made from thick rubber throughout with no plastic (i.e. breakable parts). There is a metal cylinder that goes on the inside of the bottom of the tee that provides stability, strength and durability. That part has a bolt that you use to connect it to the base/home plate. It is heavy enough that it won't tip over if not hit squarely and strong/thick enough that it won't crack. I've played baseball for many years and aside from the ATEC branded tees, this is the best one on the market.

I hope this review helps because there are lot of tees out there and they just don't compare, at least not at this price.

Great tee for my preteen...It is heavy and sturdy. Great price for the value. Definitely would recommend it to others looking for a tee to practice their hitting.

Purchased this for our 3 yr. old Grandson's Birthday. Both the 3Yr. Old and his 7 Yr. old brother ( Who plays T-Ball) love it. It doesn't tip over and it is like the one that the older boy uses in T-ball. Good quality

I've bought a couple of cheaper T's at Target in the past and they ALL fell apart. Wanting a good heavy duty batting T I bought this one. Couldn't be happier. Very heavy, sturdy and doesn't fall apart. Great purchase.
