After going through a number of cheaply made batting Ts, I stumbled across this one. This is the one sanctioned version by the T-ball Assn of American and it's sturdy and well-built(Our T-ball team uses this version it games). It may cost a few pennies more than cheep WalMart versions, but it is well worth the price. You'll be handing this down to cousins and friends - that's how well it's built. The friction fit rubber pipes are perfect for adjusting to different little batters swings.

Go ahead and swing at this pitch, you won't regret it.

Over the years, we have purchased several batting tees. All of they have only lasted a short time, a season at most. This one is exactly what I was looking for. It is exactly like the ones used in the league. It is very durable and I fully expect to hand it down to my grandkids in time. Wish that I had purchased this years ago with my first kid. I love it (and so does my 5 year old son!!)

I played college baseball and this is an outstanding tee. We used tees like this almost every day in practice to work on our swing. Now I have a three year old and he has already destroyed two cheap plastic tees. I'm not sure if MacGregor is even still in business, but these tees are great. They are heavy and durable.

This is a good sturdy tee. It only extends to about 37 inches however, not 47.

I bought this for my 9 year old son to help with hand/eye coordination while batting. The tee is very durable and of good quality construction. I've owned a couple of cheaper plastic tees given as gifts to my son, and they didn't last after a few uses. My son has been able to hit with full power (into a batting net) and not worry about the tee breaking. The base is solid rubber and the bottom pole connected to the base is metal wrapped in rubber. The upper section is made of a heavy rubber that can be adjusted for height. My son thought tees were for "little kids" until the coaches on his minor league team used the same batting tee at practice. Now he uses it and has improved his swing and batting in real games. I can say that I've used this tee myself and I don't worry about the durability. A minor drawback is that the heavy rubber top section needs a little straighting after taking a few missed hits. This tee should be the last you'll need, if it's for personal use.

Bought this for my grandchildren who have not yet used it. I was looking for something basic but of really good quality and this batting tee seems to be just that. The service was also top quality.

the biggest issue with this batting tee is the coaches that insist on carrying it around by the tee. That leds to a hole being ripped up on the plate; therefore, it becomes useless.

the only improvement I would suggest is to reinforce the plate, specifically around the hole. With that change, it would be a "five".

I first bought an "inexpensive" tee, which lasted about 20 bats before breaking off at the base. I bought this tee based on the reviews, and I am very happy with this purchase. It seems to be of the same build quality as my t-ball league's game tee. There are no plastic parts; everything is made of a durable rubber except for the base's reinforcement which is steel. I fully expect this tee to last through all three of my kids.

There really isn't much to say about a great product except, this is sturdy does the job well and is built to last for years. I'm totally happy with this batting tee. If you're looking for something well made that will last through a few generations of kids, this one's for you. It does what it's supposed to do and it does it WELL!
