The Mc Gregor series,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The MacGregors: Alan & Grant: All the Possibilities\One Man's Art (Mass Market Paperback)
I really loved the whole series. I read them all. I do have a small problem. I have read over 60 of her books and twice I have run into the problem of ordering books like Irish Hearts to find out that I already ready read the two books in the duo and it did not give the names before I ordered it so I thought it was a new set. This happened once before and I was a little upset to order these books and my money waisted. I also have all these books. Is there some way I can sell them back to you. I am disabled and if I can just return them in exchange for a few new books, that would be great, if not I would understand but can I sell them back?I love Nora and all of her writing. Sense I am a captive audience and cannot leave my home, I read a lot and if you see my account I read 6 to 8 books a month. I am also looking into getting a electronic book for it is so hard to hold up books. Gloria Dickey 626-964-1358.

MacGregors and Campbells Join Together,
By Bookaholic (California, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The MacGregors: Alan & Grant: All the Possibilities\One Man's Art (Mass Market Paperback)
These two stories, though short, are nicely paced and well-developed. Roberts does a fantastic job giving each character depth.Alan is the eldest son of Daniel MacGregor and Anna and he is currently Senator. At a formal political party he sees a woman dressed extravagantly and uniquely who doesn't seem to belong...and yet still does. Her name is Shelby Campbell, daughter of deceased Senator Campbell. Due to her past, she refuses to involve herself with anyone in politics. However, Alan is persistent, determined to win her over. The cute and unique ways in which Alan wins Shelby over will make readers laugh and smile. From pigs to goldfish, this is a delightful read! Grant is the sister of Shelby Campbell and a professional recluse. He isolates himself from others in his lighthouse, determined to safeguard his privacy. However, foul weather pushes Genevieve Grandeau to his door. *SPOILER* Shaken from her sister's death, Genevieve has decided to go out of the spotlight (as a celebrated artist) for a while. Due to circumstances, she's stuck with the rather rude and private Grant...and the two fight the sexual tensions that arise. A great read of love and trust as well as some insight to how the rest of the MacGregors are...especially with the welcome of the next generation, readers get to read of how Daniel becomes an absolute marshmallow with his grandchild. Enjoy!

Nora Roberts again mesmerizes with another two great reads in one book of the MacGregors' family. It definitely keeps your interest from beginning to the end. I'm always sorry when the stories end! You'll love it!
