5.0 out of 5 stars Who cares about the facts
I like short stories with a feeling of the macabre with it. If you want facts then read facts remember that facts change with each new coming generation. 3.0 out of 5 stars Read it at least once
As the previous reviewer said, there are some factual errors throughout. These get annoying at times depending on your knowledge of a subject.

Overall though, it is an enjoyable, fascinating light read that will whittle away a lazy afternoon with glee.

3.0 out of 5 stars Worth a look, February 28, 2005

A very few entries are slightly off-track in terms of factuality (most likely simple editorial mix-ups due to the large number of items in this small but dense volume), but in general, a good place to go for bizarre anecdotes about humanity's darker (weirder) side. Some items are horrific, some amusing, some appalling, some just plain strange and all are entertaining on one level or other.
