4.0 out of 5 stars Precise corded mouse -- even with an accelerator
I really like this mouse and the MacAlly software you can download to go with it. It's very precise. I also use a mouse speed accelerator software to track about 5 times faster than the usual max mouse speed. This makes precision very important to me -- and this mouse provides that. If only MacAlly (or anyone) could make a Bluetooth mouse that was equally precise...

1.0 out of 5 stars Great if you don't care about the wheel
The mouse is great since it is so light... except: the middle wheel button is a *real* pain. Its resistance is very rough and varies from one position to the next. It's sad. Otherwise it is a perfectly good mouse for a Mac/MBP.

I also use a mouse speed accelerator software to track about 5 times faster than the usual max mouse speed. This makes precision very important to me -- and this mouse provides that. If only MacAlly (or anyone) could make a Bluetooth mouse that was equally precise! (I'd be willing to pay a couple hundred for one!) The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it has a cord. But I guess you can't have it all....

When I was searching for this mouse I was looking for a decent small aluminum mouse to match my powerbook G4 for when Im at home or on the go. So far from my use of this, it works perfectly. I know one of my friends used it and they didnt like its size, but I personally thought it was perfect. It feels nice to use and looks great. I dont think I could ask for more. 5/5

I have an Apple set-up, using my Macbook docked at home and as portable. I wanted a small, an easy to pack travel mouse. This one works, it is flat, but not too flat when using, I can work it easily. If you like those large "ergonomic" mouses that fill your hand and have lot's of buttons..this isn't it. It is flat, but not too flat when using. When my "mighty Mouse" from Apple died, I used this on my desktop temporarily....at least that was the plan...I'm still using it at home, no problems, and it is a nice aesthetic complement to the slim, metal, Apple keyboard. 2 things for the picky one's reading this (you know who you are!), the cord is grey, so it doesn't match the Apple product completely and it makes a distinct "click" when you click but not annoying, just a little less "dampened" than other, more than $20 mouses. I recommended it.

3.0 out of 5 stars a so-so mouse, November 26, 2010

I have small hands, so this mouse seemed like a good idea (and Macally stopped making my favorite the ice mouse jr) It's not.

The pros - it glides really easily and is very accurate. As others have said it's low profile makes it ideal for travel. If you've never tried a 3 button mouse with a Mac, you have no idea how much you've been missing.

The cons - the shape of the mouse is flat. Never knew how important a rounded mouse was till I started using this one. After using it for a few minutes, my hand starts to cramp. I can't tell if the buttons are harder to click because the angle of my hand has changed or if they are really stiffer. The wheel is smaller than most so your hands have to change position a bit to reach it.

I wanted a mouse that would fit in my laptop case and it needed to be thinner than a regular mouse, this mouse fits the bill. While it's not as comfortable in my larger hand than a regular mouse it fits the bill for me. I'm using win 7 as well as XP on another laptop and both installs went off without a hitch.
