I find these speakers very useful for listening to spoken word podcasts and lectures without having to wear headphones or earphones. The sound is clear and loud enough for my desktop or lounge chair. The sound would NOT fill even a small room. Music sometimes is rather ragged through these speakers but I bought them for spoken words only. By the way, these speakers also work on my ipod.

This really looked like a good idea. A small,portable,nice-looking speaker system for my Sansa. I'm disappointed though because even though they are small, I still expected more volume than these offered. If you are in a room with any kind of ambient sound -- forget it. I can't use it with my plastic Sansa protector on either, I have to remove it. Also, the sound is distorted at (it's) high volume setting. These would be okay in a small, quiet room at a close proximity to the listener (especially for the spoken word). Other than that it's value is limited.

I bought these speakers thinking they would be nice to listen to in my room but I was wrong the sound is horrible. If you do buy these dont buy these speakers from www_eblazingttech_com because they sent me the ipod ones.

Easy to use...plug in, turn on. Poor power makes this product just a little louder than a set of cheap headphones. I would not recommend...pay a little more for higher quality and performance.

I bought this portable speaker as an accessory for my son's Sansa mp3 player so that he'd have an option to listen to, and share his music in an open environment- without earphones. He loves it. This little speaker has good, really strong sound. The only downfall (or maybe not) is that it operates by battery. He's only had it for a few days now, so I don't know how often the battery would need to be changed. I quess it would also depend on how often one would use it. So far, my son had it on in his room as he cleaned up,and he used it while playing video games with some visiting friends. The battery has been of no concern. This is a nice accessory to have. I'm glad I bought it.

This product was purchased with some expectations that would be somewhat equivelent to speaker phone volume on my cell. It is W O R T H L E S S. You can barely hear it, my bud ear phones are louder just laying those out in the open. Great marketing and packaging for a useless piece of junk... Wouldn't even sell it on ebay for 2 cents because I'd be screwing someone out of their money... Dr. Chase PhD CS I give it Negative 10 stars, worse than nothing

I bought this speaker for my sansa view. piss poor sound quality, very tinny. If you turn it up above a whisper volume the sound gets badly distorted. It doesn't fit very well if you have any kind of skin or case on your sansa. VERY fragile, I set mine down on the table(from about 1.5 inches up) and the plug snapped off. Pure junk don't waste your money.

These speakers are okay to listen to in a quiet office setting. Perhaps they would also be okay for a work setting. So, they have fit the bill for me. Otherwise, they are pretty weak. But, for the price, you only get what you pay for.

Got what I paid for, a small speaker system for personal use. Now I can ride my bike and listen to music without breaking the law.

i was disappointed that this product was $20.00! its sound is very low quality and its volume is extremely low. also, if you forget to turn the speaker button to off, its battery runs down in no time!
