it's small, stylish, extremely lightweight and sound sounds louder than I expected. I recomend it to anyone who owns a Nano.

I bought these for Christmas presents to accessorize new nanos. They don't fit the new generation of nanos (the aluminum ones). They work fine on the original nano ipods and were a good price.

I purchased this little speaker to use with my 2nd generation ipod nano - in conjunction with the ibirdpod software. I had two concerns going in: Will this little pocketable speaker generate enough volume to be of much use? And will my 2nd gen nano fit the original model speaker (there's a newer model available now)? The answer to both is a resounding yes. On a quite morning I actually have to turn down the volume a little. And while there is a little extra room around my nano (the change in size was in partial millimeters), it's still a fairly snug fit. It probably wouldn't be the first choice for most ipod users, but for my application, it's perfect.

The Protable worked well. It is highly portable and volume levels, which I was concerned with, was fine if you place it next to your bed, or on your desk. Don't expect it to fill a room.

I didn't see anything in the discription about it fitting only the older version of Nano's. I got this for someone for Christmas and we were both very disappointed that it wouldn't fit the new generation Nano. The size was perfect for us, we just wished the Nano would've fit.

This is a great product for kids, but for an adult looking for good sound quality this is not it. It sounds very tinny.

I gave this a 5 because of what you get for the money. I am satisfied with this product. Dont buy it expecting bose quality, however it is very much worth the money. Sound is decent, ease of use is excellent.

This little speaker had good sound quality but it was difficult to insert or remove the ipod. We were afraid that we would damage the ipod. The longetivity of the ipod was more important to us so we returned it.

This is such a great little product, don't listen to any of the bad reviews. I actually read the product details....(*sarcasm implied) so I knew it would fit my little nano 1G. Its sound quality is impressive for such little speakers, fits anywhere, and I'm STILL on the first set of batteries I bought for it TWO WEEKS AGO! Its perfect for my office, I play it all day long! I'm so happy with my purchase.

I hesitated to purchase this item as I do not know my niece's taste or the type of her nano. As soon as I know that she has the 2nd generation ipod nano, I just have to buy it for her as her Christmas gift. It was perfect! She loves it. She carries her speaker with the ipod nano all over the house. We even used it as our "stereo system" during the holiday and it was loud. I was happy with this speaker...and so she was.
