Really holds ipod in place when you run. Is well made. Just wish pouch was a smidge bigger so my ipod with a skin on it would fit easier. I am very happy with product.

I would give it five stars but I have had it for only two weeks. If it holds up for at least a year and nothing snaps loose or tears then It is worth a rating of 5. Otherwise, I would like to to mention how well built the case is. I see allot of the health club members wearing the little mp3s around their necks like its really cool to have the dang things hitting them in the face or arms when they go into a fast run or rythmic jog on the cardio equipment. Having the music securely attached at the hip is the best way to use it while exercising. The cord stays close to your torso and won't tangle in the equipment. This carrying case seems to be as well built as other similar cases that members have been using for years with their cd players. Neoprene material holds up quite well under regular use. This case doesn't appear to be any exception. I love wearing mine!

Great for the iPhone 4S!,

First of all, it is almost impossible to find a waist band for carrying an iPhone. I am a woman with very small arms and I did not want a bulky armband for my iPhone. I found one other waist band, but it had the velcro opening to the side. The last thing I want is for my iPhone to fall out. So I went with this, and I am quite pleased with it. My iPhone 4S fits in snugly, though the headphone opening is not aligned. I used sewing scissors to cut a small hole where it needs to be. But sometimes I just fasten the velcro flap slightly to the side. It doesn't look as nice, but it works. I use the waist band primarily for running. So far it has worked great, the belt does not move at all when I run. I can't really use the phone's touch screen through the clear plastic, but I usually just set up my running apps/playlist and go.

I'm very pleased with this item. It arrived exactly as described and pictured. It's made of soft & stretchy neoprene fabric with a large clip on the adjustable waist band, making it feel very secure when attached. The compartment for the ipod opens at the top, which is perfect so that I don't have to worry about my ipod slipping out when running. Would absolutely recommend!

Cannot change song tracks very well but durable,

I bought this specifically for boxing bag work to sit on my lower back as opposed to the armband options out there. the sturdy wider portion of the belt keeps my ipod (160GB classic) firm to my lower back as intended. the buckle is thick and sturdy. only issue i had was the actual pocket and 2 flaps that cover the front side of the ipod. the ipod sits inside the pocket with the face visible through a clear flexible plastic screen protector. you cannot use the click wheel through the plastic which is expected but just fyi. to even change a song track you have to lift the top flap which is velcroed to a bottom flap and then try to feel for the track button. Basically its just hard to change tracks...GOOD WAISTBAND BAD POCKET.

Fits my iPod touch perfectly with room to slide in my ID. There is a clear window that allows you to skip songs, etc without having to take your iPod out of the slot. Also has a small convenient zipper pocket for some money. Can be difficult to snap together (pinched fingers), but I think it gets easier the more I use it. Watch the size limits, it will not fit a larger person without some kind of belt extender. Overall, it's a great alternative to an arm band at a great price.

Reading the other reviews I didn't know if this case would fit my ipod touch, but it does. I love wearing my ipod around my waist. I didn't like using an armband at all. The only part that doesn't fit is the hole for the headphone is in the wrong place so I just shut the top with the velcro off to the side.
I use this when I am on the treadmill and the elliptical and it fits snuggly around my waist with no movement. There is a pocket for the earphones and a small zippered pocket as well. My ipod fits even inside a skin case (though it is snug). I highly recommend it!

Bought this to hold my ipod while running. The velcro holds great. When not using for my ipod, I am using it for carrying my cell phone while taking walks. The pouch also has tiny zipper pocket which holds my car key. For the $10 price tag, it is a great product. Belt is easy to adjust and soft, stretchy material is comfortable around my waist.

I bought it so I could run with my HTC Aria, and it fits great. My waist is about 30 inches, and I didn't have to do any adjusting to the band. The belt feels sturdy and never slips down. I can easily see it being the last waistband that I'll buy. Great product.
