I am a part-time DJ and still do the occasional wedding. It amazes me how popular this song is, even though it's been 15 years since it was originally released. This song still gets people out on the floor and moving.

Was glad to find this CD with so many versions of this great song.

This is one song every mobile DJ should have in his kit.

I remember when I first saw the video for this song. I thought it was pure crap! But then I heard the song on the radio and fell in love with it. I was only 9 years old at the time, and I wanted to go to the store and buy this CD myself. This was the first CD I ever bought, and I still have it. Although the non-Macarena songs aren't very good and hearing Macarena over and over kind of gets old, this CD is still a lot of fun to listen to. It's impossible to listen to and not want to do the dance.

Great one hit wonder. But what a winner, these older guys were hip to the jive, and could really get down with the best of them.

If you ever did the Macarena, saw it done, or heard of the song, then you've heard about this duo (Los Del Rio). They had the most well-known of the Macarena covers, and this collection has several versions of it, plus some other songs to fill out the mix. But you don't buy this CD for the other songs--you buy it because you want to Macarena. It's a hit at clubs and parties (even now), and like the Electric Slide before it, people can't help jumping on their feet and joining in when they hear the song come on.
