This was a gift for an Apple fan. It came in a small cardboard box which was (cheaply) printed to look not unlike a retail box for a MacBook. The item itself is constructed of white plastic, painted black for the keyboard section (which does have labeled keys) and what appears to be a piece of actual glass mirror in place of the laptop's screen. The Apple logo is painted in silver on the lid to add a bit of "authenticity." The hinge is extremely loose, and does not hold its position at any angle. There are extrusions which are designed to secure the lid at a 90 degree angle by simple friction, but it doesn't really work unless the lid is very carefully set in position while the item remains completely undisturbed on a flat surface. I expected it to be cheap, and it more than lived up to these expectations. However, the recipient enjoyed it, and actually uses it, if you can believe that. Don't expect too much, and you won't be disappointed. It's everything I hoped it would be, and less.

It's an adorable mirror, a good size, though far too thick, and designed like a MacBook Air (except not as thin).

I don't like that it's white (I would've preferred silver like in the pictures), and it looks and feels very cheap. The hinge isn't very strong either; it doesn't hold its position past a certain point, and it's the type of cheap thing whose function deteriorates with time. It's not particularly impressive.

All in all, it's a cute gift, but don't expect anything amazing.

Update: I've had this mirror for a few days and it no longer closes. It's pretty much just been in my purse, haven't used it but once or twice, and whatever held it shut has stopped working. It's a cheap, useless gag gift.

I really love this product simply because I am a Die hard Mac fan. It is small and fits in my purse or pocket, and very light weight. However it seemed like it had a few tiny spots on the white plastic but besides that I am very very happy with this product. I highly Recommend it!
