I am pleased with this product. However if ordering again, I would purchase extra canisters. I tested the product just to make sure it worked and I would estimate that it probably has about three uses in one canister. I like how far it sprays and how easy it is to operate!!

bought this specifically for the velcro peppersray holder to walk/jog in the early a.m. (dark). Two main issues: the strap has started to tear only after a few uses and I feel the elastic holder is too loose - the spray cannister (in my opinion) could slide out. I still use it but has become another distraction when exercising making sure I am holding it correctly so if I need it (in my case probably for a dog)I know it will work effectively. I wish someone would take the time to design a spray cannister more shaped to your hand that would feel more intuitive to use. I looked at a dog pepper spray that was somewhat like that but thought the "dog approved" spray might be too weak if I ever needed to use it on a person.

The aquision of this product gave me peace of mind because my grandaughter can carry it with her when she is jogging alone at times close to home.Im sorry for the delay in reply as I have been off line for a while. The only down side for me regarding this transaction, is the distance i am away from the supplier and the carriage costs were more than the combined cost of the two products. This is unfortunate and would certaintly curtail further purchaces because it is not economical for me to do so. I would not take anything away from the professional service you have provided and I thank you for your trustworthy service which I would fully endorse to anyone who should read my comments all the way from Ireland. Let us start with quantity.. At a minimum I know you can get 3 good squirts from this product. This is fact.
Now let us venture into quality. The word to use here is POWERFUL. I know this to be fact also.

I jog 4 times a week at a near by park, not in the best of neighborhoods. I will put in a good 3 miles on the paths there. Being a man of considerable girth and overactive sweat glands, I can only imagine what a spectacle I must be wheezing and lumbering around the park.
I felt that I may appear to be an easy target for would be muggers. It was a logical decision to purchase this miniature bottle of salvation to protect myself. Nothing too large, however, heaven knows I can't afford to carry too much more weight as stumble through the miles.

Three days later it arrived as I was preparing for my run. I ripped open the box, grabbed my spray, and strutted proudly to the car. As I stretched at the park I had a bit more of a cocky attitude. Daring anyone to mess with me. Yeah, That's right! The wheezing sweaty fat man is packing now. Bring it on! Make fun of me now you losers.
A book had come in the box with the spray. A small manual. I wish I would have read the section labeled "handling and care."

On mile number 2 I was getting winded. My grip on the spray was loosening. The strap would not fit around my husky wrist. I needed to wipe the sweat off. I switched the spray to the other hand. This was a mistake. I grabbed it poorly and it shot on my muscular thighs. The pain was immediate. Lightning stuck me. I hit the turf hard. A dust cloud went up. It was like a pickup truck driving down the path and all 4 tires had popped off at the same time. The dirt stuck to my sweaty frame like glue.

Flopping on the ground like a fish on land must have attracted the attention of muggers. They smelled blood in the water. I looked like easy pickins. I saw them coming and waited until they were close enough. Two feet away I let it fly. My second squirt. This one intentional. Ha! They were going to share my pain. Unfortunately, I hit him in the fist as it was headed for my face. I heard him cry out in pain. I had to use my hearing, his fist hit me at eye level and I could not see any longer.

Now I can talk about the quality. It burned like the fire of a thousand suns. It took 5 minutes for my vision to slowly start returning. As it did, I saw a shadow figure coming toward me. "Back for more eh?" I would get that hooligan good now I thought.
This time 4 feet away I let it fly. It was a good hit. I saw the shadow drop. I lay on my back laughing out loud. A few seconds later I heard more feet coming my way and angry voices. My vision was returning more now. I rolled over and saw that I had just peppered a full uniformed police officer. How he had found me I will never know, I looked like a large brown walrus now and blended into the landscape well.

A very large sweaty dirt covered man got the beating of a lifetime that evening. I thought the pepper spray was the most painful experience I had ever had. And it was, up until some very pissed off cops introduced me to real, much longer lasting pain.

Excellent pepper spray.. read the manual.. Don't spray cops... And definetely don't laugh out loud if you do.

it is a good product however if you are buying this hoping that you would carry it comfortably on your arm beware it has a very short band it won't fit our arm and it is not comfortable...
