Every marine is taught you can't kill John Spartan or his favorite fightin' buddy Gun. The Enemy however is a slow learner...

Giant bipedal hunter-cyborgs, derilect alien space stations, action-packed space battles & political intrigue. Yeah...this book has it all.

A serious middle book that extends the story in the Orion Nebula. I think this is the first time we meet the bad guys and I assume that is what the title means. The characters are doing their own thing now and thr story is ramping up to something big. Can't wait for no 3.

Great continuation of the story. If you liked the first series you will surely like this one. Space opera at it best.

I really dislike writting reviews even though some authors are quite inspiring. Reading is one of my favorites forms of entertainment and with the advent ebooks and self published authors, the number of new published books are staggering. It seems the only way to get to the books/authors I like are to leave a review. Most books I read already have well thought out reviews that I generally agree with. In most cases I only leave a review if I either really enjoyed the book or hated it. So, for this particular book I concur with the other five star reviews and leave this review to show support and to encourage timely future books. I thank the author for an affordable good story.

Not Bad... Admittedly, very hard to stop reading even for a moment. I now regret not reading the previous book. Unfortunately, I was biased by a less than a favorable review by someone who believes to be a subject matter expert on SF. The book even with some errors of continuity still leaves one anticipating the next chapter for more CQB, and there is lots of it. Enjoy the read

I read one of the sequels first, and loved it, then realized there was a bunch I had missed before. This book continues the saga on, and I really enjoyed it. Some questions are asked and kind of answered, then the answers change some in different books, which can be annoying, but I think the writer is just trying to get a feel for it! Love them!
