I wasn't sure if I really needed another quilting book, but for the low cost I gave it a try. Now, I don't know why it has such a low cost, this book is GREAT!! If you've considered machine quilting then this book is for you. It covers all aspects of machine quilting with clear, consise instructions and pictures. It covers common problems you may encounter, and how to correct them as well as all aspects of batting, marking your quilt, types of thread, bobbin tension, etc. You will NOT be disappointed with this book.

This book is amazing! I read this book from cover to cover and I could not believe how many wonderful instructions were included. Everything you needed or wanted to know about machine quilting was listed with easy-to-understand directions. I wish I had this book when I was machine quilting my king size quilt. This is a great book for everyone's quilting library.

The book is well layed out, especially if you have little quilting experience. A lot of good information and gives very detailed instructions.

I Love this book! It was so helpful not only with machine quilting tips but also hand quilting. I recommend it for any level quilter.

I just received this book yesterday and couldn't put it down. Being a new quilter (very new), this book answered by many, many questions and did it in a colorful, precise manner. I highly recommend this book to new quilters, such as myself. Well worth the few dollars it cost. Buy it ... you will not regret it.

New to the subject, what I appreciated about this book is that there are a variety of authors, so each chapter was wrtiien by an expert and I was not limited to one view point. Very readble. I learned lots!

Although I have been quilting for years, I am self taught and only started free motion quilting bout five quilts ago. I did find many useful tips in this book and well worth the price.

I would recommend this book for anybody who is looking to be inspired to machine quilt on their domestic sewing machine.

I have several machien quilting books.. and thsi book is by far the best .. much better than any of the newer machine quilting books I have. LIke another reviewer said, there aren't any pattterns.. a good book for patterns is the one by Alex Anderson. What I really really like is the troubleshooting tips for each type of quilting. And the detail in which they describe each step. I do'nt know how any book could be more thorough.

What a helpful book! Fast and Fun Machine Quilting is a well written, well illustrated machine quilting book. A beginning quilter could follow the instructions in this book to produce a quilt that does not look like a beginner's project. All instructions are accompanied by illustrations for those of us who learn better visually and can be referred back to as you work, to serve as a reminder of what the next step will be or to confirm that you're following instructions.

Hints for shortcuts or ways of working more efficiently are included throughout the book. These serve to help a new quilter build on their basic knowledge (also found in the book), and enjoy the process of learning a craft that preserves an old tradition or even takes it in new directions.

This book should be in every machine quilter's library!
