This review is from: Machine Shop Training Course, Vol. 1: Elementary and Advanced Machine Shop Practice for Shop Courses, Schools and Self-Instruction (Hardcover)
Not what I thought, but very good.

The entire book is an a question and answer format. This was disappointing at first, until I became familiar with the format and realized the depth of information that was related in the answers. Great reference for the autodidact hobbyist who doesn't have a mentor to learn from.

Excellent book for anyone that is looking for a starting point in lathe and vertical mill operation. Also, is great for information for the processes involved in the art of metal work.
