I wear these shin guards under my pants every time I have to deal with firewood. Wood splitters might well be called wood SPITTERS, and their favorite target is the human shin bone. Oh, boy, does that hurt! But no more, thanks to these inexpensive, comfortable padded protectors. If you wear them with shorts, you will, of course, be a laughingstock.
