Back in 1989, before the advent of CDs, I had the cassette version of this classic album. I took it along with me on a spiritual pilgrimage to Peru. I meditated to this haunting music every morning, but it wasn't until I got to Machu Picchu and meditated there among the ruins, that I realized how accurately Rusty Crutcher captured the magic, essence, and spirit of that magnificent sacred site.

Whenever I hear this beautiful CD, it brings me right back to Peru and Machu Picchu, and my longing to go back there again.

I love this cd... sort of out of this world sound...whether you play this CD for reiki or attunements or just to meditate and destress.. I think you'l love the music.....so will your clients...

It is an amazing cd. I was taken back by it!! it makes you feel like you are indeed in the ruins of Machu Picchu. Close your eyes, be in the dark and play this cd and you feel the Inca experience right through your senses... and feel the magic of Machu Picchu

I bought this to replace an almost worn-out cassette tape of the same material. It continues to be as joyfully haunting as ever, and is the most used CD of its type in my household. If I had to choose just one set of harmonious sounds to meditate with, this would be it.

I have bought this CD twice now after giving one copy away, and previously purchased the cassette tape when it was originally made. It has been the one music CD that could help me get to sleep when my mind would not shut off.

The sound of wind echoing through the passages, tunnels, buildings of Machu Picchu and the gentle burble of a stream still send me off blissfully to sleep.

Many of my clients have also bought it for quieting their thoughts and meditation.
It is still my favorite after all these years!

We employees used to play Rusty Crutcher's Machu Picchu Impressions every afternoon when we worked at the Bodhi Tree Bookstore in LA. This was the time of the Harmonic Convergence (anybody recall the Harmonic Convergence in 1987? intense!) It calmed us workers down, and it set a calm through the environment of the frantic :0 ) New Age store on Melrose Ave. Always appreciated. Genius music, really. Part of his Sacred Sites Series, I think.

Excellent with shrooms
I found this to be the most theraputic sound
in 1994 along with some shrooms. It helped me
to work through my addictions

Lots of blank spots prior to each song and does not flow as expected
