Very disappointing., November 5, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Macintosh Crash Course (Paperback)
I purchased this book to help with some of the unexplainable errors I encounter at work. I was extremely disappointed with the content, the truly valuable part of which would fit in a ten page booklet. It is basically a catalog of freeware, shareware, and commercial software including utilities, extentions and control panels, and has no mention as to how they behave in reference to each other. The few tidbits of value are hidden in interviews with software developers and software company owners. These interviews include such irrelevant and space wasting questions as "Where do you live, are you married with children, how old are you, (etc.)". I wish I had been able to return the book.
