If you don't already own this recording, please buy it now. It
is absolutely incredibly terrific. While Miss Fitzgerald was singing "Mack the Knife", she forgot the lyrics...didn't miss a beat and made up new ones - that scanned perfectly. This is one of Ella's very best albums (yes, I know it's a cd not vinyl) and it should be in every music lover's collection. |
