I wanted to get my daughter a new stroller for her dolls and stuffed animal play. The one she was currently using was literally on it's last leg. I found this Maclaren stroller and was SO excited since we own a full sized Maclaren that looks JUST like this one. I just knew this stroller would be a hit for Christmas. I waited to pull this out and on Christmas eve was so disappointed in the size of the stroller. It's SOOOO short. I was hoping it would have been suitable for my 6 year old. I did expect her to have to bend over to stroll, but this is so short, it's not even remotely comfortable for hear to use this. Thank goodness when Christmas day came, my two year old saw this stroller and just naturally assumed it was for him and away he went! The stroller other than the small scale is built EXTREMELY WELL. it comes right out the box ready to use and has a simple straightforward folding mechanism, much like full sized stroller. It is made well. I have gone through a ton of those other baby doll umbrella type strollers and can't stand the fact that many of them were so poorly built. This stroller has not had any issues. Normally by now one of my children will come and get me to ask me to fix the stroller and this is the first stroller where that has not been the case.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stands up to rough use: a great value, December 20, 2009

We are not the type of penthouse dwelling elite who would buy a real Maclaren brand doll stroller, right?

Yet, it turns out, doll strollers get real use. The "made in china" lesser model we had at first simply did not hold up: it would tip over, fold itself too easily, and all the parts became wobbly fast. This stroller, while still made in China, is simply better designed. Your little one can actually put a doll in, and actually stroll about, outdoors on the sidewalk if necessary. And when your little one is done, it will still be in good enough condition to pass on to someone else. Recommended.

We got our 2 year old a cheep $19 toy stroller for her birthday by 2.5 it was very badly broke down, I couldn't fix it this time. I have never seen her so upset, and determined to play with a broken thing. I went on Amazon right away to find another realistic but durable stroller for her. Read all the reviews. This one is great quality (the quality of a full sized one), cute, well made, durable, and fun. It is metal, with hight quality fabrics, soft padded handles, and hard double coster wheels.. She loves it and it is strong. Baby has been getting rides all day. I wish I had gotten this one in the first place.

We purchased this stroller to replace a cheapy one from Toys R Us. This one is well made, and my little girl loves loading up her babies to stroll around the house. I think that she may outgrow it height-wise around 6. Otherwise it is great!

I bought this for my niece who is 2 years old. She loves the stroller. She and her older brother, 5, play with it all of the time and it gets a lot of abuse. The stroller is holding up well to their play. It's attractive, easy to fold and durable. You won't be disappointed. (I gave the review 3 stars for educational value because it's a stroller. I consider that a neutral grade.)

This is fabulous. My 2 year old cannot part with it. She recently got into dolls, so she received this for her bday. Loves, loves, loves this. It goes everywhere with us. She'd put it in her crib if she could. Its durable, rolls well and is just the right height. The only issue I can see with it is the lower portion of the seat cover just slides onto 2 little "posts' and it falls off easily. Mainly its not a problem, just an annoyance since shes cant put it back on herself--I do it. Great item. Highly recommend!!

The stroller has been very durable. My daughter loves ii! The only problem I have is that the seat cover comes off the bottom of the stroller and needs to be re-seated on the bars. I would recommend it if you are looking to buy a stroller as it is one of the better ones out there.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful for Toddlers, January 10, 2011

We bought this for our son after he saw a similar one in the store and loved it. He was 1.5 at the time and is 2 now. It's perfect for toddlers who are confidant walking but still like to push things around. The stroller is very lightweight which made it easy for him when he was smaller. It was easy for him to lift over any bumps he might come to and not get stuck and frustrated. It's small but a perfect height for a 2 yr old. And because it's small and lightweight it works well indoors or out. There's no fear that it will ding up our walls or harm anything. Our son loves pushing around his stuffed dog. It's also nice because he would rather push our main stroller than sit in it right now and this gives him an outlet to be like Mommy and Daddy. Also, this was the only stroller I could find that didn't come in bright pink. I'm not sure why all the toy strollers are pink since ours at home is red and my husband pushes the stroller as much as I do, but I was happy to find one that wasn't so gender specific. Also, it's very realistic and folds up small like a real umbrella stroller if we want to take it with us on a trip to Grandma's. This has been one of the most used toys I've bought my son and I highly recommend it for children who've just gotten comfortable with walking and running.

Very cute replica of the real maclaren stroller. It is short though. It fits my 19 mo old (33 inches tall), but probably wouldn't fit a 4 yr old child. My only complaint is that the sling/seat easily detaches often. There's nothing to secure it really, the fabric pocket just slides onto two pegs/posts. It is easy to fix, but not for a young child. Other than that it seems sturdy enough & it solidly locks into place so that there isn't any accidental collapses.

After a year of frequent (indoor) use, this toy stroller is in mint condition. Can't say that about other, cheaper toy strollers that have run through this household.
