No one mentioned this tiny little fact:, January 27, 2009
This review is from: Maclaren Easy Traveller Stroller, Black and Silver (Baby Product)
I am sure the Maclaren Easy Traveller is everything everyone says it is. I myself have a Quest for my 2 year old & couldn't be happier. That is why I purchased to Easy Traveller for my baby on the way. I thought how could I go wrong?
I read all the wonderful reviews and knew I'd love it too. Except for the fact that no one has mentioned its size. It is HUGE. I was only assuming it'd be the size of my Quest & I could use stroller adaptors to connect the two if need be. That definitely isn't happening. I am still shocked by its size. I am so sad to send it back for a refund. Its size just isn't for me. Just to descibe a little more for the people who expect it to be Quest-sized, it is about as wide as a Graco Quattro Tour & very tall.
I just figured I'd take the time to share my opinion as I really appreciated everyone else's while I was on my search.

Best "Snap N Go" Out There, January 13, 2009
This review is from: Maclaren Easy Traveller Stroller, Black and Silver (Baby Product)
I chose to spend the extra $$ for this version of the "Snap N Go" and haven't regretted it for a single day! I've used it as my stroller every day since my daughter was born instead of getting one of those gigantic travel sets. It's great both in stores and for going for long walks. I use it with my Chicco Key Fit car seat and it fits just perfectly. The basket is HUGE! It fits a blanket or two and a diaper bag, plus a variety of toys. The umbrella fold beats the others out there for ease of storage, plus it's so light and maneuverable! I'd recommend this to anyone for your first stroller, then you can take your time to figure out what kind of stroller you REALLY want when your little one outgrows the carrier carseat.

Super light and convenient, July 8, 2009
This review is from: Maclaren Easy Traveller Stroller, Black and Silver (Baby Product)
I wish I had purchased this item sooner! I am in decent physical condition, and after throwing out my back lifting a different 27-lb so-called "medium-weight" stroller in and out of the trunk for daily errands, I knew I needed an alternative.
Pros:
--Extremely lightweight
--Folds and stores easily
--The mesh basket is HUGE. I can fit my "diaper bag" (LL Bean Deluxe backpack), purse, hat, and so on. You have to think a little bit ahead to configure items if you want to access them once the car seat is on, but it has worked for me.
--The Britax Companion clips onto the frame. It's not a tight clip like a car seat base, but you shouldn't be driving this at high speeds anyway :)
--There is an additional safety strap that *must* go across the car seat at child's hips to fully secure it on. This is a bit of a hassle to remember to do every time, but an important safety feature.
--I am 5'0" and my husband is 6'3", and we both are comfortable pushing it.
Cons (depending on your situation):
--Yes, it has a large footprint (roughly 22" wide x 37" long). The width is what makes it seem bigger than most strollers. Thus, if you live in an area with very tight shopping aisles or busy sidewalks, this item may not be for you.
--The "bottle" holder is for a *baby* bottle, not an adult water bottle or coffee cup. We didn't even bother to put it on. If you must have a place for your coffee cup, this may not be for you.
--The wheels could be a little bigger and/or have slightly more shock absorption, even for relatively smooth terrain. I use this stroller for indoor shopping and short outdoor walks. If sidewalks have uneven crags, I have to lift the wheels a bit to get over them. Don't expect to go off-roading or jogging with this! That's not its intended purpose.
--Obviously you can use it only as long as your baby is in an infant car seat, but I thought it was well worth the money even for that time period.
Overall, I would recommend as an everyday stroller to keep in the trunk of you car for light errands.
