I recommend this dictionary to my ESL students because of its easy to understand definitions, illustrations, and wide range of idioms, slang, and colloquialism. The layout is clear and easy to read, with red lettering to highlight certain words.

The only odd thing is the way the first set of pictures, which are on stiffer paper, makes the pages open up to a certain set of words starting with "f***". On the other hand, its inclusion of this frequently heard word only shows how inclusive they are of all the words of the English language, not just the nice and polite words.

The definitions of this dictionary are very clear. I use it when I teach English and my students get the meaning of new words in every class. It helps me a lot in my job.

Is the best dictionary ever! It is complete, friendly, accurate, easy to handle. Learn.. but most of all enjoy the language with the help of this jewel. I truly recommend it!
