5.0 out of 5 stars Why didn't I go to Japan earlier?, January 26, 2002

This review is from: The Macneils of Tokyo (Paperback)
Living more than 25 years in Japan, Seward knows it all well and has a lively gift with words. This is the second book of the Macneil clan saga. The MacNeils of Nagasaki, sets the stage for this later period and is equally delightful, maybe better. "Tokyo" will be appreciated especially by those who have walked the streets and alleys of Tokyo; but watch out for the myth of Japan's atomic bomb.
I await with impatience, The MacNeils of Yokohama. There is a possible MacNeils of Kyoto, but Jack is getting up there in age. Stick with it, Jack!
