This review is from: Maconaquah's Story: The Saga of Frances Slocum (Paperback)
I enjoyed the story. I was born in Pennsylvania in the area Frances Slocum was kidnapped. Thus the story was very meaningful to me. The downside was the book was slightly damaged when I received it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Beware, March 28, 2011

Be advised that this book is written for preteens. Even at that, it is poorly written, and poorly researched.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great story, May 11, 2010

I am doing research on the Slocumb's in America and came across this book. It came from a vendor through Amazon. Copy was in excellent condition and even signed by the author! Even though we are not direct decendents from Frances, it is great to have in my collection and an interesting story to boot!
