Hey for 31 bucks this is a pretty nice little player. Good audio, decent FM reception. The inlcuded headphones are not the greatest and you will probably want to use others that are more comfortable. I got this to see just how much I would actually use an mp3 player before I spring for an ipod.

This unit will not play mp4 format files. I have a few and this player will not recognize them. Must be mp3 or wma format.

Compact size, the menus are pretty easy to navigate with a little practice.

If an iPod seems a bit much for your needs, check out one of these little inexpensive players.

I bought two of this product for my children. One works fine and the other just stopped working. When I got ready to send if back, it was working fine. I still sent it back -- hoping I get a better one next time. Amazon return system if fantastic though! I notified them yesterday of the problem and my replacement is already on the way! That's wonderful!

My husband and I bought these, the white one and the blue one earluier this fall and neither one lasted more than a month, mine actually is still functional, but they go through a whole battery in 6-8 hours, and some songs won't copy correctly onto the player, a lot of corrupted songs that I was able to listen to on my IPOD (which I ended up buying after I gave up on this).

The controls are also a lot more confusing that the instructions lead on, be wary of this if you choose to buy it.

Well I Love this thing. Yes it was somewhat hard to learn at first but if you pay close attention to the instructions manual it's pretty easy to operate. I am able easily navigate to my folders ect ect. I used window media player to save my favorite songs then went to my music and "copied" (not moved) the folders onto the player. For awhile I was confused at first about it. I had uploaded the folder that had the artist's name on it but you actually must open the artist's folder then copy the actual album's folder to the player otherwise it won't show up under folders. I hope this will help other people on this subject cause that had gotten me stumped for awhile. :) I must say it was totally worth the money!! I would buy it!! worth your money!!!

The sound quality of the product is OK. It is what you expect from a MP3 player. The problem is the AAA battery required to operate the unit runs out quickly and you need to replace it very frequently.

Voice recording, FM radio and MP3 playback for $32 - tough to beat. The sound quality was really good, even in the voice recordings. The interface is not very good - hence the 4 stars - the jog wheel at the bottom is used to both select a menu item by depressing it and to scroll by rotating it to the right or left - very rarely, it got stuck and you had to try a couple of more times to get it to scroll. I cant comment on the battery life since I havent used it that long. I wasn't expecting a great player for the price and was pretty happy with it, all in all.

For the price, this unit is a pretty good deal. It sounds great and seems to work OK. The only "problem" is in the function selection. If you just want it to play back the music you stored, fine, but if you want to change the playback curve or have it repeat or do a random selection, it isn't the easiest thing in the world to finagle the button(s) to get where you want. Just takes some patience and practice.

Works fine, but SO confusing to operate. I bought the Macvision at a GREAT price, so if you're looking for a bargain and patient enought to learn the system, this may work for you. For some reason some songs download from the computer and others won't. The menus are so complicated, and the users manual is not much help. I bought it for my 9-year-old's birthday, and fortunately, she's thrilled. She doesn't mind that I've only been able to get 12 songs on it, or that she can't figure out the menus either. It plays FM radio, it's pretty, it seems reasonably durable. And I've put my 12-year-old to work to set it up. She figured out my Sandisk player in a heartbeat and filled it with music for me--BTW, I LOVE my Sandisk and highly recommend it.

I bought this for my 11 yr old daughter. It was easy to load with songs using our PC and she loves it!!

It is perfect for my 10 year old daughter. It holds plenty of songs and it is a good size and shape. She thinks it looks cool. It is a very good value for the price.
