This is by far the worst MP3 player Company. My player came, it's pretty and pink, and doesn't work. The product came defective.
A defective product makes me upset, but I can live with it, pending it's replaced.
However...
Not only does it NOT work, but I have called customer service for macvision numerous times, sent several emails, left voice mails upon voice mails over the past month, etc. to see if I can get a replacement or perhaps even some troubleshooting assistance... and NOTHING I have not heard back from them, not one peep!!!!! Do I want this product? NO... absolutely, emphatically NOT! Would I recommend this product?... No, because *should* anything go wrong you are own, don't expect assistance!

I bought this pink MP3 player for my sister and she loved it at first. Then, after it plays one or two songs, the device gets VERY hot and then shuts itself off. After reading the other review about their customer service, it appears I may be stuck with this garbage and they get to keep my money!

I bought this for my daughter. So far it the MP3 part seems to work fine except that the FM function it is supposed to have is not an option on it's screen! The worst part is I didnt find this out until the packages had been thrown out. (kids!) My son got a blue one of the exact same model and it seems fine.
I am sure it could be fixed by reloading the firmware or upgrading it. However It is not on their site....Support does not call back. They do not email back... NOTHING. I will never buy another Macvision Product.

One on my younger cousins requested one for Christmas this year. I was a bit leary not knowing the name brand but hey all the older siblings were asking for ipod shuffles and nanos and it was hurting the pockets. Apparently one of her friends had one and they are getting quite popular now are her school. Well once she whipped it out in a matter of minutes she files downloaded,playing, shuffled, and jamming. Meanwhile the kids with the Ipods were still frustrated with the controls and incompatability files. Not only did this item take ANY share file their computer had amassed over the years(copyright or not, unlike ipod) but it took any form and has a fm tuner. I fell in love with the little gagdet and ordered myself a earlier birthday gift *blushing*. I just had to get a cute pink one too. Even though I'm over double her age :-)

Not sure why others had a problem with this product.
I bought it for my step-son and ended up using it myself.
I have had no problems putting music on it, or with it overheating or anything.
Without the manual I was easily able to figure out how to put music on it, and how to change from Music to FM. And the sound quality is very good. I don't know how Customer Service is, because I have not encountered any problems with the product.

This product was difficult to use initially, and stopped working after a few months. I guess you get what you pay for.

I bought this MP3 Player about a month ago. It took a while to figure out how to get it to download, but now that i know it's so easy. I'm not to impressed with the button to turn it on. I tossed it in my purse to take it home with me & it turns on to easy. By the time i got it home my battery was dead. So for the lack of ease for carrying my MP3 I give it 3 stars.

What I like about it:
*It is a decent value for the price
*Compact size
*Very easy to load music
*pretty good sound quality, I think, for the price
What I don't like about it:
*Not user friendly! I can turn it on and off with no trouble, but I still cannot figure out the menu even though I am following the poorly written instructions! Getting it to play music is frustrating!
*Not good for carrying around in a backpack, purse, or pocket. Even with the lock button engaged, the power still goes on and drains the batteries.
*No customer service or help that I can find. I've looked online and can't find anything. As I said, the directions are terrible.
*The earphones are pretty good, but they hurt, because they are a little bulkier than other mp3 players, and they don't stay in very good.
*I couldn't even use it with Windows Media, even though that is recommended in the instructions and I have the most recent windows software.

I will keep using it since it was so cheap and the music sounds good, but when it stops working, I would not buy this same player it again.

Works Great for me, I use it to work out at the gym. Only down side is that Pink does not go with everything.

It's really cute and in expensive, holds more than enough songs for a good work out. But it keeps shutting its self off. I've made adjustments that seemed to fix the problem but it's happening again all after only a few uses. Maybe it's just a battery problem, so I'm not quite ready to write it off yet. If I can fix this issue I'll update my rating to more favorable.
