I have one good thing to say about this MP3 Player - it has very good sound - that is it. It is very cheap and light-weight. You can not even see the screen, the print is way too tiny and also you can not forward or go back CD to CD, you have to go one song at a time! One button called the Mode button has 3 different functions and if you hit it the wrong way, you chose the wrong function. I spent hours trying to get songs transferred to this player for my daughter who I bought this for as a Xmas present. I called Customer Service and have left many msgs. and no one has returned my call. I called again and miraculously got a "live person" and he was extremely short and hateful with me. They only will give you information on how to operate this MP3 Player nothing else. He rushed me off the phone and was very rude and so much as referred me to their website! I was appalled! Still we can not get this MP3 Player to work and have no help with MacVision's customer service so this product was a waste of my money. I do not suggest purchasing this item, spend a little more and get great customer service help!!! Amazon - to you I don't suggest selling Macvision products on your website - this might hurt your business!

Dont waste your money. My 15 year old took very good care of hers, but within 2 months it stopped working.

I bought this for my daughter for christmas...

Pros:
- It qualifies as an MP3 Player, meaning it is capable of playing MP3 files.
- It is cute.

Cons:
- The controls on this MP3 player stink.
- See above, they stink.
- Difficult to make the thing play...
- Difficult to make the thing stop playing...
- Difficult to make the thing change songs...
- Unreliable

Simply, it feels like a toy, and works as reliably...

Worst 50 bucks I spent in a while. Bought it for my daughter for christmas and it died the same day. Still cant get it to work. Got a better one at Walmart for less. Dont waste your money on this piece of crap. Can only use as memory storage now.

I was interested in a player that was both easy to use, and navigate, but more importantly functional. The player is cute and the size(dimensions) is about average. Loading the music onto it was easy and it quickly filled up after about (90) 4-5 minute songs. It will read both MP3 and WMA, with MP3's taking up more space. Using the player takes a lot of patience and aspirin. It is very nerve racking navigating the menus (loads of them) with just 1 switch that does everything. The LCD screen is hard to read even with the youngest of eyes. The unit has a nice EQ that lets you tailor your sound and the sound is remarkably good. Battery life is around 15 hours depending on how much you play with the system getting used to it, and how long you set the backlight to stay on. My bad rating comes from the fact that the unit has a habit of shutting down after 1 to 2 songs quite frequently. I've tried everything within the player to stop it from doing it to no avail. The manual does not recognize it as a troubleshooting problem nor does the far better manual at the website. Unfortunately customer service will not return any calls during this Holiday Season, guess I'll try after the 1st of the year. I've heard that the unit can overheat and shut down from other reviews, and amazingly if I hook the player up to my computer speakers and play it that way, it works fine. If I pick it up and use the supplied headphones, and put it in my pocket or inside my shirt, it shuts down. I would not recommend this unit due to the problems stated above to include customer service problems. Put you hard earned money elsewhere.

great product for the price! most mp3 players that do what this one does cost much more. It's easy to use and I love the voice recorder and FM radio features. You just can't beat it for this price anywhere else, believe me I looked! And to top it off, it comes in pink!! what more could you ask for??

I got this player for christmas and the first thing I did was transfer my favorite songs off of some of my CDs but when I started trying to find music to download, well, I couldn't. The player dosen't support DRM files and all music has it! No Im not stupid, we have a computer programmer in the family who looked high and low for non-DRM files and the only place you can get them is CDs

I bought this for my 9yr old granddaughter. I could not figure it out, but my 13 year old grandson set it up for her and loaded the music for her. She loves it. She constantly has it in use, and has it all figured out.

We bought this four our daughter, and installed the software from the CD. A message popped-up on our desktop that said something to the effect of, "this device is not verified for use by Windows XP operating systems. We recommend that you check vendor for updated drivers and compatibility. Installation may cause operating system to perform irregularly"

We went to www.macintosh.com, checked MP3 player drivers, and they only had Win98 drivers listed. Luckily this player still worked on our WinXP computer with the CD that it came with for installation. The easy to use "drag and drop" function makes it very easy to add music to this player. Plus this MP3 player has a sleek design that kid's like.

Works fine with WinXP, despite warning message. Need vendor to update drivers for Windows XP so that no warning messages pop up.
