There is one problem with this mp3 player. The cover for the battery does not stay in place. It falls off easily.

The MA834-2P was a perfect gift for my 10 year old daughter. If I could've bought a different color I would have bought one for myself. This thing is easy to transfer files to (direct plug in + extra ext. cable included) and move around within the different menus. My kid easily figured this thing out. This thing has a voice recorder which I don't believe the description mentioned. It works well. The FM tuner works great. You can also delete files right from the MP3 player - a function my daughter has used more than I thought. A great buy!!

This mp3 player works fine, sound quality is adequate. One plus is that the USB plug is integrated into the machine (rather than using a cable, like many other similar products). So there's no cable to lose. On the other hand, this does make the device slightly larger than some comparable players. A minus (in my opinion) is that the earbuds are integrated into the lanyard, so if you want to replace the earbuds with something better, you either carry around 2 sets of earbuds or go without a lanyard.

It works great, my mother brought it for me and I love it.

If you are looking for a great mp3 player that won't break your wallet, this is it! Its perfect! I bought 2 of these. One in pink and one in black. I loved them so much and for the price, I went back and bought four more..one for each kid in the family! We all love it! It even comes with a FM tuner and records 30 second voice files and small data files. This little thing has taken a bad rap with some reviews because some say the buttons freeze up. This is not true. The manual that comes with it, just doesn't explain the key guard very well. It has pictures instead of explanations. The key guard will lock all the buttons after 90 seconds. All you have to do is push the top lever (toggle switch) forward all the way and then immediately back all the way to unlock the buttons. I also love that it has an attached flash drive for your USB. No cables needed! However, it does come with one if you want to use it. It also easily attaches to any pc without the need for any software! You just drag and drop your files on it. I put over 2 hours of music on it in less than 5 minutes. I put in a rechargeable AAA battery and can listen for over 8 hours straight before I need to recharge the battery again. If you are using it near your pc, just plug it in the usb port to power it up without the need of any battery at all! It has a bright blue background light to see your files on and it also scrolls the title of the song playing which most mp3 at this price does not do. It comes with some extras too like, a great equalizer to adjust for rock, classical, jazz, etc. For the money ,( I paid $40 each) this little thing is great!
