more amazing sudoku puzzles from PUZZAZZ, July 21, 2011
This review is from: Mad About Sudoku #1 (Kindle Edition)
PUZZAZZ is the clear leader in puzzles and this set is perfect.
the puzzle grid is large so you can easily see and enter the numbers. there is a legend at the bottom of each puzzle that tells you which letters correspond to which number and the navigation keys. the numbers are large and clear and easy to distinguish from the ones already entered when you start the puzzle.
it is easy to navigate and to enter notes in a cell. you can choose to have notes entered for you
or do your own. it will remove errors
if you choos to.
unlike other sudoku puzzle companies, you do not have to be online to use PUZZAZZ sudoku. those companies have you enter your numbers in a puzzle at their website.
there are only 33 easy puzzles from PUZZAZZ unlike the 'unbound' series of puzzles where you can change difficulty, these are all easy. but these are only 99 cents, one third of the price of their 100 puzzle sets.
there are 4 bonus puzzles. 2 are their Wordokou puzzles where you get a 9 letter word and you solve with letters instead of numbers. i like these.
2 are their Symdoku puzzles. here you get symbols such as a star, triangle, stop sign, etc. these are more difficult but i like them too. as with the number puzzles the legend tells you which letter to use for each symbol.

Superb Puzzle Interface, August 1, 2011
This review is from: Mad About Sudoku #1 (Kindle Edition)
I love solving the puzzles in this ebook. I'm particularly pleased with the interface as it's intuitive - I didn't need to read the introductory directions! Additionally, I'm thrilled that I can get hints and have started using this ebook to teach my young children how to solve Sudoku puzzles. Once I complete the book, I'll be turning it over to my kids to redo - another benefit of the electronic medium.
P.S. Love this book, but if you're looking for easier puzzles, check out
Snap Sudoku #1 (A Puzzle Collection).
