This review is from: Mad to Be Saved: The Beats, the 50's, and Film (Hardcover)
This book provides very interesting insights on the Beat movement. Instead of just focusing on Kerouac and his writings it embraces a larger scale of art works from performing arts, to cinema, painting,... It reflects in a very relevant way on the atmosphere of the 50's, the dawn of the counter-culture of the 60's and 70's.
A good read for pleasure and an interesting study.
