More room!
Finally I can reach the couch using this extension cord. You have to sit up close to the TV set all day. The multitap to close in? No proplem. Just hooked the multitap and the cord and your friends can go farther than before. Buy it!

Doesn't work with NEW PS2 (progressive scan model)
Had this and it worked fine with my old PS2. I just bought a new PS2 with the progressive scan, built-in IR receiver, and quieter operation. And guess what? It does not work with it. And Of course Sony does not offer an extension cable. Just be aware. I gave the cable away with my old system.

Contrary to a previous review, this extension cable works perfectly with the Playstation 2. It will not damage either the controller or the PS2. I have used it with the Dualshock 2, and I also found that you can even plug the receiver for the DVD remote control into it, and it works fine.

This extension cord works with any playstation console and you won't believe the difference it makes. I haven't had any problems with it whatsoever (port burnout, etc.) and it was definately worth the money. There are several on the market and can range as high as $60 but why waste the money when you can order this one for the low, low price!... Do yourself (and your back) a favor and get this cable!!!!

They are GREAT!!! Now I can sit confortably and play my games even though the tv is across the room. I'm sure most of you don't mind sittin on the floor to play...but...this old lady prefers the sofa.

Simply Great !! I have a projector and 80" screen. So, playing on such a huge screen would be painful if you have to set close. I got this cable and connected two togather and then to the controller. It is simply great ! Enjoying playing on the far sofa with no problem !

I bought two of these for my husband for Christmas, to use with his PS2. We have tried the wireless controllers, but for some reason, they just don't seem to work very well. This works great, now he can sit in his recliner and play without any issues. Actually, he's been using it every weekend since.

This cable is not made by Sony and is not compatible. It messes up your controllers and they do not work properly. Using it will risk damaging your PS2
