A Limited Edition Must Have For Joe Cocker Fans., April 28, 2006

Simply put, Joe Cocker "Mad Dogs & Englishmen"-THE COMPLETE FILLMORE CONCERTS, is a stunning classic rock tour de force that will easily become one of the most sought after Cocker collectibles. This limited edition 6 cd boxed set has been made available via the internet only, by Universal and A&M music. It is limited to 2500 copies and is sure to sell out quick. This is not some cheap bootleg, but an actual record company release. What you get here is the entire 2 day stint at the Fillmore East NY. All 4 shows are here in there entirety as they happened. Nothing is left to the cutting room floor. There are 61 tracks, with 41 never released before. All the between songs verbalization between Joe, Leon Russell and the crowd is left intact which has never been heard until now. The remastered sound is phenominal, and I mean PHENOMINAL! All the live classics are presented here, and what makes this set so astonishing is the different arrangements on the same songs from one show to another. Performances by Leon Russell, Rita Coolidge, Don Preston and Claudia Lennear are also presented along with all the live Cocker classics like never before. This is going to become the most sought after Joe Cocker collectible in years, and is without a doubt one of the ultimate classic rock releases ever. This collection makes all prior Mad Dog collections obsolete. If you are a die hard Joe Cocker fan, do not miss a chance to own this boxed set. Once they are gone, they will very difficult to get hold of. Why the record companies aren't releasing this to commercial outlets is a mystery to me, but I would not miss a chance to own what I feel is without question, a Joe Cocker cd treasure chest.
