baroque rock that's never quite been in style,

If you like Dukes of Stratosfear, Jellyfish, early Sparks or the more ornate and orchestrated parts of ELO and Queen, this is right up your alley. The previous album suffered from trying to also be a concept album, but this EP shows Bryan Scary as being back on track. If you know and even sort of like early Sparks or music like Bohemian Rhapsody, do yourself a favor and try this out. A quick listen to the sound clips will tell you if this is for you or not. This will never be a huge hit, because it's not radio music - it's actual listening music.

Power-Psyche-Pop Goodness!,

I caught these guys in Athens, Ga recently - a total surprise. All are superb musicians and extremely tight. I'm not a huge fan of power-pop, but these guys are sooooo much more. One minute I was thinking, this sounds like early Costello, the next like Queen, Zappa and overall like one of the myriad psychedelic invasion bands from the late 60's. Although this is a studio production, this disc captures the energy of the live performance well and is superbly produced... if you haven't checked these guys out, do yourself a favor. They are a ton of fun and the music keeps getting better with each sitting.

BSST never fails!,

Where the hell did this come from? Seems like Flight of the Knife was just released. I know its only 6 songs but still. This is the Bryan Scary plus that little bit of extra that you need for a new release. Too bad there weren't more songs. I love this band. Such a unique style and a great production of it. Buy it. Come to Indiana guys!
