'a world apart',

This review is from: Madagascar (Enchantment of the World, Second) (Library Binding)
I've long wanted to visit Madagascar, and found this book - albeit aimed at children 9-12- quite fascinating, with chapters on the land, flora and fauna, history and current affairs, economy and ethnic groups. It's richly illustrated throughout and contains interesting details on ancestor worship, and a chapter on island life

This review is from: Madagascar (Enchantment of the World, Second) (Library Binding)
I was looking for some facts about Madagascar to include in my fantasy novel. Nina's Story: The Crimson Flowers (Volume 1) Madagascar (Enchantment of the World) gives clear and easy to read facts with beautiful pictures. It's great for children doing research for a school project or paper. I used this in conjunction with other books on Madagascar, but found this one to be the most helpful and concise.
