I got these boots for my girlfriend for Christmas. I think they're adorable, the ribbon in the back distinguishes these from other boots.

However, I had to return them because her calves were too large for them. I was hoping the ribbon in the back would allow for more adjustment, but it didn't provide near enough. But since that's just the design of the boot, I'm not going to give it a bad rating. Once again, this boot is NOT for wide calves.

The foot part of the boot runs big.

I thought I was saving an extra 10 dollars by buying the Madden girl version of Steve Madden's nice and popular boots. They look nice on the website, and upon their arrival, I was confused. The shoes I had ordered were not suede as the description states. They felt as if they were made out of cardboard. Within the first 2 weeks of wearing these boots (I was not wearing them everyday), The back heel began to rip and peel, despite the fact that the shoes were about 2 sizes bigger than I had ordered. Shoes of this quality should not be almost 70 dollars, and if you are looking for quality these are not a good purchase for you. I'm sure you can find shoes on Amazon of equal quality for a reasonably lower price.

I was so excited when I purchased these boots. They look great, but the sizing is really off. I normally wear size 8.5 and my sister wears size 10. I bought size 8.5 and they are so big that they fit my sister!! I'll just have to wear thick socks with them. Also, they are very slouchy- I have 13.5 inch calves and these boots are really loose on me (with slouchy jeans tucked in), but they still look very nice. Oh yeah, I'm 5'7", and these come up to my knees. I would've given the boots 4 stars if they would've been closer to an actual 8.5 (and not a 10).

I ordered these in grey, and they are very cute and comfortable. The grey is a darker color than I expected but nice & goes with everything. Unlike other reviewers, I haven't had any trouble pulling them on - I just have to wear skinny jeans and maybe tuck the jeans into my knee-high socks, and the boots go right on. I've gotten several compliments on them. Two words of warning for you:

1) They definitely run big, so I would recommend ordering 1/2 size smaller than usual. I wish I had! Mine are quite large on me, but I wore them before realizing it would be a problem.

2) These are NOT boots for women with larger/muscular calves. I have quite thin calves (boots are usually baggy on me), and these just fit my calves perfectly with a very thin pair of jeans. Anyone whose calves are more curvy should probably find another boot, since these are not adjustable.

I ordered another style but ended up returning it to get these boots.I totally love everything about these boots, the style, it's comfy and its affordable price. I am usually a size 7, but I got the 1/2 size smaller and it fits perfectly. The only downside is the material, its not real suede. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

Nice style boot. As previously stated, boots run about a 1/2 size larger. The problem is that they are EXTREMELY difficult to put on. I was about to return them. It took me 2 days worth of trial and error to get them on. Now that they are broken in, I am totally in love with them.

I am usually a size 8 1/2 but bought an 8 since a lot of the other reviews stated they run big, they definitely do. Even the size 8 I purchased is a little big on me, but nothing a thicker sock wouldn't fix. These boots are also really tall. I am 5 feet 8 inches and they come up almost to my knees, which I'm not a huge fan of, but they are very scrunchy so you can scrunch them down if you would like to. The one downside is that I have very muscular calves and the boots are a little tight in that area, but it's not too unbareable, it helps keep them up on my legs as well. I'm not sure I will be able to tuck jeans into them or not, that is my only concern. Overall they are really cute boots and seem rather comfortable. I am looking forward to getting to wear them for my first time.

I love this boot and try to wear it with everything if I can get away with it. It does run big so even the size 9 I wear has plenty of room.

What more can I say that my title didn't. They were very poorly made and the suede was the worst imitation I've ever seen. Not worth the time.

This boot is the cutest simple boot I've found. Not only does it go with everything without being too over the top, it's really comfortable. The fabric isn't worth the price, but the look of the boot is. As for sizing, the calf shaft is rather small and coming from a girl with thick legs I was able to squeeze them in. Unlike other reviewers, surprisingly I didn't have trouble getting the boot on and it's light and comfortable on my feet. Also, the outersole is narrow, so I would guess that it would fir girls with narrow feet and calves well. However the tie ribbon on the collar does nothing for stretching or tightening the boot, but there is a little bit og a gap that you can loosen to help get your leg in. I ordered my regular size, size 8, and it fir perfectly. I would not have ordered a size down at all, and the round toe is definitely comfortable. I think people may mistake the roominess in the toe area to be off-size, but I truly believe it was made to feel that way.

I plan on wearing these with tights or leggings (because of my big calves) and overall a really attractive boot. I did buy these boots from a different site (and for a much cheaper price I might add), but I figured I'd write the review here since Amazon is Amazon ... lol.
