These boots are cute and comfortable. The only problem I had is the sizing. They run at least a a half a size bigger than normal. I am almost always an 8 1/2 and sometimes a 9. I had to return my size 8 1/2 because they were to big. Which cost me..UGH! The size 8 is perfect. They are so casual and comfy. I pair them up with a pair of skinny jeans,tee and a cute sweater over the tee. Perfect for just hanging out, shopping or going to the movies, Etc. .They look exactly as they do in the picture and the packaging was handled perfectly. It's a great deal for a pair of casual boots..I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars....;)

I bought these boots and love them! They look nicer in person and they fit perfect. I have slim legs and these fit wonderful around the calves(they are adjustable if you need more space). Super comfortable; you really can walk all day long in these boots. They are a really nice version of synthetic leather, cute, and very fashionable. I wore them with leggings and a tunic, and plan to wear them to the office with a boyfriend blazer and dress, or with skinny jeans tucked in. Very versatile. I am so happy with these boots!!!

These are nice looking boots for the price. The only problem I had with them was that the shaft was too narrow for my calves, which are a little thick, I'll admit.

As a tall woman (5'10"), I have trouble finding a boot that reaches directly below the knee. Even so-called "tall" boots are often too short. I was looking for a tall black casual boot with a low heel. These are just what I've been looking for: they reach above the calf on my leg, are cute, and comfortable with just the right amount of heel. I wear them with skirts or jeans. Also, you can't beat the price! I located on Amazon what I'd been unable to find in a store.

I love these boots! They match with anything and they are super comfortable. I was not able to find such cute boots for the same price. I normally wear a 7 and sometimes I wear a 7.5. I bought a 7 and they fit perfectly. If you are unsure of your size, I would suggest verifying your size on the Steve Madden website. Thats what I did and it worked fine.

I'm so excited about these boots! I tried on dozens of boots trying to find a pair under $100 that didn't gape unattractively around the top of the calf without success until I got these. Due to other reviews I purchased a size 8 as I vary between an 8 and 8 1/2 and they fit comfortably even with a heavier pair of socks. The interior measure at the widest point of the shaft on my pair is 14.5 inches and it's nicely padded which makes them super-comfortable and warm while leaving just enough space to tuck in a pair of jeans. Unlike a lot of man-made material shoes these boots don't look at all "plastic-y." They are nice enough that though perfect for casual clothes, they can just as easily be worn with something dressier (I'm currently wearing them with a sweater dress and leggings). My only possible complaint is that the soles are smooth and very slippery until well scuffed--certainly not something I'd want to wear on icy streets. Overall, a good buy.

For the price that I got these (around $20) they are a fantastic steal! I highly recommend getting a half size smaller like others suggested. I usually wear a nine and the 8.5 is a good fit. I just looked at the full price again and the upper end is into the $80s. I would not pay that much. The description says they look like leather, which is not entirely accurate, but I still think they are great (and very comfortable) for the right price.

I vary between a size 8.5 and 9. I bought these in a 9M. To begin with, I could barely get them on, they were so small. When I finally did get them on, my toes were pressed up against the top. They felt like a size 7.5. The calves were very fit, but the ankle was baggy. Also, the back of the heal felt like a piece of wood, so I imagine if they were the right size, they'd be terribly uncomfortable. Might be poor quality, might be a dud. Either way, I wouldn't bother with an item whose condition varies so widely from review to review.
