A good reference and breakdown of each team. Highlights the best plays in each team's playbook and the basic default playbooks. Would be beneficial to novice players, not too much for hardcore players though it helpful reference material.
Shipping was absolutely fast

I thought this guide was quite helpful. It contained detailed summaries of every team and who their key players are. It also gave you a rundown on all the different play-books you could use. I think that I definitely benefited from this. I think it was definitely worth the money. The only problem I had with it however, is that it did not improve my game as much as I thought it would. But then again, I was expecting this guide to improve my game times two. But I think any guide would fall short of that goal...

This book was not at all what I had hoped for. There was practically no space devoted to basic instructions on how to play the game. No explanation of the program controls and how they work. And there was no mention at all of the Ipad version of the game. The only versions mentioned were XBOX and Playstation. I have the Ipad version and was very disapointed. Also the logic behind the play descriptions and strategy that take up the book could have been explained more fully.

I first started playing Madden in 2009. I never played online and I usually played against the computer or my son. My son suggested that we upgrade to Madden 2011 and play online. I bought the game and wish I had my money and time back. How could they take such a great game and make it so one sided? The dropped passes on the defensive side of the ball are appalling. I have never seen so many supposedly "all-pro" defensivebacks drop so many wide open interceptions. In one game, my team dropped sure picks that my mother could have made. In one game I played, I counted six wide open interceptions I should have had. SIX! On the other hand, you may get lucky and the computer picks one off for you that is almost uncatchable. Believe it or not, I've thrown more interceptions to lineman than I have to defensivebacks. Linemen! In my opinion, save yourself the frustration and wait until they put the defense and the offense on the same playing level. Right now, the offense overwhelms the defense.
