The Best Madden game,

This game is great, period. I love the QB Vision, Hit Stick, Truck Stick, Superstar Mode, and the list goes on and on. The graphics are outstanding, and the little extra things they put in there are terrific. (I love seeing the lineman argue with the ref over if the ball carrier got over the first down line!) Overall, I love this game and almost play it daily. A truly great football game.
GO FALCONS!

A few comments,

As bad as the QB precision thing sounded on paper, it actual makes the play more involving and realistic. Having to scan for your reciever really does make it feel more like you're a real QB. Admittedly, it adds a little bit of a learning curve, but it's worth the extra effort, even though you have the option to disable it.
I also like the fact that you can edit the rosters. This lets you account for players that performed much better or worse in real life than predicted by the game designers. Minor complaints: The running game, from my brief experience, and from the testimonials of others, is not quite as good as the one in the ESPN football game. However, I have a GameCube, and therefore no choice. Also, the announcers can be slightly annoying, and sometimes bizarrely inappropriate.

I purchased this as an end of week reward for my students. It kept them busy for the 40 minute period. They can't wait to earn it again. Perfect! [for the moment]

this game is one of the best football games ever, especially for the nintendo gamecube, you're not gonna find much better than this except madden 2007 for the nintendo gamecube. this game features a great franchise mode (dynasty) and you can create players as well as teams and even load them into "seaon mode". the all around gameplay is fantastic.

I had a 2003 version of this game. While I liked it, it didn't play well on my gamecube. So much for used games. I recently bought this one new and I've enjoyed it immensly. The graphics are excellent, better than before and the play is smooth and reliable.
The franchise mode is well done and easy to navigate as it is true on almost any EA sports game. I even enjoy the total simulation and coach mode if you don't want to play every aspect of a game. My only fault is with the historical teams. Like all the earlier Madden games, I wish that they would use the actual names of the players on the historical teams. Calling Bart Starr quarterback #9 is a little lame. MVP Baseball calls historcal players by their real names, why can't they get the research right and do the same? But over all, a great game and worth the price.

There is arguably no doubt about it when it comes to EA Sports. They have no doubt about it controlled the sports playing market. Whether it is baseball, golf with Tiger Woods, or football, they have kept the ball rolling for years at a time. There is no doubt about the Madden football series. Not only has it maintained being a staple, it has been one of the very few sports games that has remained a constant for years around. The game series has gotten better and better, and kept rolling with the tides since its late 80's PC days. Now it has kept the ball rolling for Gamecube owners alike.
Madden NFL 2006 for the Nintendo Gamecube, is one of the very few hottest sports games out right now. The game really goes all out with so many classic plays in football, as you play every team in the NFL lineup like the New York Giants, or the Washington Redskins. The graphics in this game have improved over the last couple of them for the Gamecube in the players and the field, and the control also has gained a little ground. Especially in difficult gameplays. While there really isn't much of a challenge when you're playing by yourself, it really takes a whole lot of fun if you're against somebody else. The way those play by plays are also called quite smoothly, and followed very easily. Arguably, Madden fans will love this game for the Nintendo Gamecube. Madden NFL 2006 does show that the football series still has a lot of stayingpower. Considering this might be the last one for the Gamecube, and Nintendo is setting those eyes on their upcoming revolution game system. Still, this is truly a must buy for sports gamers alike. Graphics: B+ Sound: A- Control: B 1/2+ Price: B Fun & Enjoyment: C+ if you're playing it solo, A- if you're against another player Overall: B 1/2+

Madden is a really cool game because the controls are easy and you enjoy a lot. but Madden 06 is a little bit boring if you're playing solo, i mean is best to play if you're not solo but my friends recommended this game by online an i bought it.
This is my opinion: Graphics: B- Sound: B+ Control. A- Fun and Enjoyment: B- if you're playing solo and A+ if you're Playing against another player. Overall: B+
