Even though Claudja's fifth album, "Made In Hong Kong", is diverse in sound, it shows the transition she was making toward Hi-NRG. Here New Wave, Pop, R&B and Rock are blended with a Hi-NRG base. Claudja's soprano voice is promenently featured on the songs. Unlike her previous album, "Feel The Fire", Barry co-wrote only three songs on the album. Those songs are "Radio Action", "Take Me Back", and "Sweet Inspriation." The lead single, "Radio Action" starts off sounding cool but the sound and vocal approach of the song in both the verses and hook makes it sound cornier than it was intended. Nice but could have been better. The following songs such as "Don't Talk To The Wind", "Take Me Back (which features a Sitar as part of the arrangements) and "Sweet Inspiration" and "Crazy Girl" all mix either Rock or New Wave with a Dance base. Like her previous album, "Feel The Fire", this is not an album for someone who enjoys the American sound of Disco/Dance music. This album is both an underground album with a prevalent European sound that some may not like at all! This album is best suited serious Claudja's fans.
