5.0 out of 5 stars The very best by this quartet. Released by canaan in 1976, July 11, 2002
This review is from: It Made News in Heaven (Audio CD)
Let me start off by saying you can not get any better than this album, by this group or any other in southern gospel. The all star line up speaks for itself as well as the nashville musicians. If you have a copy consider yourself lucky if you don't get it, It will be hard to find. All of the 12 songs are excellent but the ones that are the very best are (I wouldn't stop now if i could) with ray dean resse singing lead. (jesus have mercy on me) (things that i"m seeing) (think about the good things) (don't lift the anchor) written by dottie rambo.(to be like jesus) another kingsmen quartet classic. (resurection morn)and this last song is the very best song this group has done and it's written by the baritone at the time, squire parsons (when the redeemed shall gather home. With jim hamill squire parsons ray dean resse johnny parrack and all the top nashville studio musicians backing it up it's got to be good.
