This review is from: Made in Oakland: The Furniture of Garry Knox Bennett (Hardcover)
If you think that all furniture looks alike, buy this book and you'll think again. Garry Bennett's work is to say the least "unique". I don't know where Garry gets his ideas from, but they are definitely not traditional.

The jewelery is interesting to look at too. I have seen a lot of similar jewelry recently, and judging by the dates of Garry's creations; he was ahead of the curve.

The whole book is superbly illustrated, well written, and entertaining.

I'll soon be donating this collectable book to one of my local art colleges.
