Great Story! By a Great Author,
By A Customer
This review is from: Madeleine (Paperback)
Bernard Taylor is one of the greatest horror authors of this or any generation, sadly he has been overlooked. Every book he has written is as good as any by Koontz, personally I think he's 100 times better. Mr. Taylor puts you on an emotional rollercoaster ride you actually feel for his characters as they're being put through an ever increasing hell. Please give him a try. I'm serious you won't be sorry.

1987 Classic Thriller,
By
This review is from: Madeleine (Hardcover)
Taylor is one of the most underrated thriller/supernatural authors out there. Madeline sticks to thriller genre with no supernatural themes, but his real world novels are way more thrilling as they are so much more realistic.
In Madeline successful TV actor Matt Severn made the mistake of sleeping with one of his extras (Madeleine). Although she was very attractive her personality wasn't that interesting so he was ecstatic to one day run into her twin Tess, with a personality he was quite impressed with. Soon they married, moved to the USA and had a few kids. Madeleine was always the type of person who once her sister had something suddenly wanted it more and caused quite a few scenes before they left. Now Matt's family has returned to England to raise the kids and Madeline is more obsessed than ever. Soon Matt realises that his family will never be safe until Madeleine's obsession is stopped one way or another. Also check out Taylor's other books especially his masterpiece Mother's Boys. |
