My daughters and I have read all of the Madeline stories many times over. When I found the audio collection I thought that this would be a great way to prevent boredom on long car trips. The stories are always delightful but all of us quickly tired of listening to Carol Channing's high yet husky voice. If you don't mind her voice, then you might enjoy this collection. Unfortunately my children protested and said they found her voice too distracting.
