a cute, quick book
It is not my 8 mo. old's favorite book (she loves Buenas Noches Gorila & Look Who's Talking at the Zoo & Olivia)but she does enjoy the big, colorful pictures. I think she also likes the size of the book. I personally like that the book is very short, quick and that it rhymes. (It's a nice follow-up to her longer books) And, of course, who doesn't love madeline...

Pretty Nice
A very nice book that's well illustrated. Mostly for the younger set since there's no story line to speak of, and the book goes very quick.

My daughter received this book, along with the cloth Madeline doll, for Xmas. She loves them both. This book is a great intro for a younger child (she is 21 months) into the world of Madeline.

We just had a Madeline birth in the family so this is a must. We have had version of this book for our 6 kids and 14 grand kids over the years and it is great even if you child is not named Madeline. It is a thick paged, indestructible book with excellent printing. Very highly recommended. Children love it.
