Poor Miss Clavel. She has to take care of 12 little girls all by herself. Madeline's teacher looks just as she does in the Madeline books. She wears a traditional nun's habit, with white pantaloons underneath. Her outfit also includes a head covering, black socks, and short black boots. She has long brown hair arranged in a beautiful braided bun, although her hair is hidden under her headpiece. What a wonderful doll, such detail with the clothes and her hair all braided and pinned up. The clothes are very durable, the first day we got peanut butter on it and it withstood a good washing. My 4 year old is fascinated by this doll and how much she looks like the character in the books and videos. This doll is essential for the dollhouse, my daughter said who else is going to watch the 12 little girls? We are glad we added Ms. Clavel to our dollhouse. Very poseable. Katelyn just adores her.
